AN ANNUAL WORDPRESS CONFERENCE IN MOMBASA, KENYA
WordCamp Mombasa is a volunteer-run conference centered around WordPress, the free and open-source software, powering approximately 27% of the Internet and 75 million websites around the world, and this year we too are embracing peace, love, happiness, and all things WordPress.
WordCamp Mombasa will be held on 4th to 5th August in Mombasa city at SwahiliPot Hub, next to The Mombasa Hospital
WordCamp is attended by designers, developers, business owners, bloggers, copywriters, consultants, hobbyists, employees who use WordPress as part of their job, and anyone else who uses WordPress in any way. Attendees range from the novice who is brand new to WordPress, to the savvy WordPress power user, to advanced designers and developers who make their living with WordPress.

So, here’s what’s coming up at WordCamp Mombasa 2018:
- Workshops for those who have never used WordPress before, developers, and freelancers who want to improve their freelancing.
- Talks (over 15 speakers from Mombasa and its environs), sessions, networking opportunities, and opportunities to talk with experts and representatives.
- Even if you don’t use WordPress we have talks and workshops on general web technologies, SEO, content creation, branding, social media, branding, security, and more.
- A “Happiness Bar” staffed over the weekend by knowledgeable WordPress users to answer web related question
- Great networking with hundreds of web and marketing people, including the after-party which is included in the ticket.
