Call for Sponsors

Without the kind generosity of sponsors, WordCamp Mombasa would not exist.

Sponsoring WordCamp Mombasa is a great opportunity to demonstrate your support for the WordPress community. To keep costs down for our attendees, we look to sponsors to help make WordCamp an exciting part of our thriving open-source community.

For 2019, we’re planning for around 200 attendees.

Event attendees are made up freelancers, entrepreneurs, small businesses, consultants, designers, developers, bloggers, copywriters, and hobbyists, as well as employees and team members from large organizations and corporations who work with WordPress. The skill level and experience with the WordPress platform range from those brand new to WordPress working on their very first website to savvy-professionals who make their living with WordPress.

Sponsor Levels

Gold – Ksh 100,000

Diamond sponsor(s) is or are the main Sponsor(s) of WordCamp Mombasa, Will be acknowledged throughout the event and his/her presence will be well recognized.

  • Limited to 2 sponsors only
  • Allowed to set up a display table at the event for demos, answering questions and meeting customers.
  • Company banner(s) prominently displayed at the event.
  • Use of our swag table to give away some of your merchandise.
  • Acknowledgement and thanks in opening and closing remarks from the stage.
  • Guest post and tweet from the WordCamp Mombasa blog
  • Name, logo, link, and description on the WordCamp Mombasa website.
  • Five (5) free conference tickets for your team or colleague.
  • Logo on badges and WordCamp Mombasa print materials.

  • Four (4) free conference tickets for your team or colleges.

Bronze– Ksh 50,000

  • Company banner(s) prominently displayed at the event
  • Use of our swag table to give away some of your merchandise
  • Acknowledgement and thanks in opening and closing remarks from the stage.
  • Guest post and tweet from the WordCamp Mombasa blog.
  • Name, logo, link, and description on the WordCamp Mombasa Website
  • Three (3) free conference tickets for your team or colleges
  • Opportunity to Speak at the event.

Community Sponsorship – Ksh 25,000

  • Company logo and link on the website
  • Logo/Name on the Thank You slide during the event.
  • Opportunity to place stickers and literature at the registration table.
  • One (1) ticket to this year’s WordCamp.

Donations

If you would like to donate towards WordCamp Mombasa 2018 with any amount that does not fit into the packages above, then we’ll gladly accept your donation. In exchange, we will list your name (linked to your website) on the event website.

Media Partners

We welcome any local news sites, blogs, and other relevant media outlets to join us as media partners. This will involve publicizing the event through your outlet channels in the months leading up to it – we can discuss specifics based on your media format and audience.
